Every 30 seconds another person becomes a victim of human trafficking.
Fun Panda is honored to be a part of the fight by raising awareness and donating to causes such as The Beautiful Dream Society, who rescue and rehabilitate victims.
From creating products made from the most sustainable plant on earth to old-fashioned customer service founded on simply treating people right, we were founded on doing what is right.
It was quite a compliment to be featured in Mashable’s article on iPhone Cases That Support Good Causes. When you put these cases on your phone, it’s more than just a case, it’s a story. We hope the coverage brings more exposure to great causes and gets more people sporting cases they can be proud of.
“This is the first iPad case I have reviewed that I can honestly say is a work of art.”
This is exactly what we’re all about at Fun Panda. We want people to cover and protect their naked iPhones or iPads with “works of art” (also known as a Panda Case). We were extremely excited to send Lorne his Subtle City iPad Case. It has a lot of “subtle” detail (see what I did there?) and the space above the cityscape really shows off the case. It looks like Lorne felt the same way. But don’t don’t take my word for it, head on over to the theipadfan.com and read the review.
Fun Panda is having a contest, and you’re invited. Here’s how it works:
Once you like us on Facebook (click the link on the left or go here), you’re in. It’s that easy.
When we get to 200 likes, we’ll draw a name from all our likers. Then at 300, 400, and 500 we’ll do the same. The earlier you like us the more contests you’ll be in.
Here’s what we’re giving away:
So don’t hide yo kids, yo wife, or yo husband because we’re giving prizes to everyone up in here. The quicker people sign up, the sooner we’ll be able to give you stuff.
Nobody wants to be forgotten. Whether it’s the girl who always had a smile on her face, the doting dad, or the compassionate entrepreneur. We all have an innate desire to be remembered; my wife’s grandmother, Mama Kaye, is no different.
This holiday season, she brought over several items used to entertain guests in the ‘60s, hoping her children and grandchildren could do the same. For better or worse, you’re never going to see my wife, Sharilyn rocking an apron around the kitchen. What we were able to do though was take something that was meaningful to Mama Kaye, remix it, and make it meaningful to Sharilyn.
First, we took several pictures of the apron bringing them into our image editing software. Then, we isolated the essence of the design, the center tree and surrounding birds. Once isolated, we used a combination of software and hand drawing to “re-create” the design in a format that could be engraved onto one of our Panda Cases.
After some tweaks and touch-ups, we were able to create a retro-modern case, incorporating a piece of nostalgia into our day-to-day.
